This came about because my clients love to receive my heartfelt pep talks, explainers, rants, and words of wisdom on all things finance - and why not expand it?

Sometimes you need a pep talk. Sometimes you need someone to explain a money thing without making you feel stupid. Sometimes you need permission to do it differently, or a reminder that the way we've been told to run businesses is mostly bullsh*t patriarchal nonsense. Sometimes you just need to hear someone else ramble while you're on a walk or doing the dishes.

That's what this is. often unhinged. Blunt. Trauma-informed. Real and hopefully a really helpful and accessible way to engage with finances and money.

I'm Harriet Formby founder of Below The Line Finance® and a Fractional CFO, ICAEW Chartered Accountant and trauma-informed finance coach. I work with mission-driven founders who refuse to choose between profit and purpose. I'm also (probably) AuDHD, pro entrepreneurship but very much anti-capitalist, and running my business from an off-grid office in Somerset woodland surrounded by horses and chickens.

There's no rules and no schedule - I simply press record when I have something to share. That could mean three times a week and then nothing for six months but I will always return!
